ART > Boundary Layers

Boundary Layers (16 minutes) is a dual-screen filmwork and spoken-word essay about nature’s reclamation of the former steelworks at Ravenscraig, Motherwell, closed by Thatcher's government in the 1980s. The work was part of A Fragile Correspondence, Scotland’s collateral exhibition for the Venice Architecture Biennale 2023. A Fragile Correspondence 2.0 is showing at V&A Dundee November 2024 - May 2025, and includes a new film, Boundary Layers (Companion Piece).
