installations > settling / roundtrips

What turns space into place, and how does this naming effect our response to it?

Consisting of a digital print, etching, video and corner wall installation, Settling (the migratory urge vs love of home) takes as its investigation the naming of places called home in the USA, and (with the roundtrip etchings) questions our ability to ever really get there.

Together with the round trip etchings and the noble Living and the noble Dead series, these works contemplate the mutability and transience of home and belonging.
